DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
David N. Morley: The Company recognizes the
Director of Photography as the most important person on the crew, because they have direct control on how the final product will look. The dual positions of Director of Photography and Post Production Editor gives the Editor the benefit of filming with the visualizations of the final Post Production Editing outcome in mind. He will work alongside the Directors/Producers/Writer to edit the footage that has been shot to create the final vision and outcome of the Producers.
Director of Photography, David Morely has 15 years of production and post production experience. He is an accomplished editor with several studio credits as well as a highly seasoned and experienced cameraman. In addition to his expertise as Director of Photography, he is also capable of running a production team in the field. In the field, his editorial experience translates seamlessly into his role as a cameraman, selecting better shots and knowing what an editor will need to craft the story in post production. David Morely’s fifteen years in television/film production and post production have instilled in him the ability to adapt quickly to different environments and production styles. As an editor, he is an extremely efficient and creative professional, and while projects may be done in collaboration with directors, segment, field, and executive producers, he is fully capable of producing and completing a polished piece independently and on schedule. He is also experienced camera operator, director, and project manager, he is proficient in the use of an AVID suite as well as a full Panasonic P2 based HD camera system.

2007-present Freelance Editor/Producer/Camera Operator
Work with a variety of post-production companies on a wide range of projects including network and cable television programming, corporate video, and content for internet outlets. Clients include The Discovery Chanel, Cisco, BB&T, NBC, TLC, TV-One, Cotton Inc., United Therapeutics, and Smart Dog Media.
2006-present Owner/Operator Drunken Monkey Productions
Manage projects from inception to final delivery. Schedule and execute shoots with clients, manage the production team, write, shoot, direct and edit as needed. Coordinate delivery of finished product with clients on time and on budget.
2001-2007 Staff Editor, Access Hollywood/NBC
Collaborate with producers to create a daily show for air on national network. Responsible for finishing editing work of pieces, including digitizing, laying audio tracks, color correction, copy editing, and final delivery to be compiled into the show master. Also edited for The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, TV One, the Noggin network, VH-1, and the Bravo channel.
2001 Freelance Editor
Worked with a variety of studios, including The Disney Channel and NBC, ABC, VH-1 and, Paramount Studios cutting promos, presentation pieces, and segments for daily shows.
2001 Editor, Jaffee Productions/Paramount Studios
Primarily responsible for episodic editing of Manhunt, a reality television series.
1998-2001 Tape Operator/Assistant Editor, The WB
Produced Deko generated graphics for network promos in conjunction with producers and assisting in the online editing suites.

Responsible for filling post-production orders for tape copies of in-house shows and promos. Responsible for coordinating with network satellite facilities for show feeds and promo placement/traffic, and quality control.

David Morely will also serve as the Post Production Editor.
The Company has sought a highly experienced professional editor. Since the shooting will be is digital the editing will be carried out on a computer. The editor’s ability is largely dependent on his proficiency with the software, and the Company is pleased to contract with someone who owns their equipment and software for a better outcome and as a means of saving money on purchases and a better return on investment.
